Employee Benefits Marten Transport, Ltd. offers a comprehensive group of benefits for employees and their families. Health benefits include medical, dental and vision which make up part of the benefit package that we believe to be one of the best offerings available to our employees. Short-term disability, basic life insurance with accidental death and dismemberment are also offered to company employees, as well as a supplemental life insurance for employee, spouse and children. A universal life insurance program is also offered to employees and their families. Besides the afore-mentioned benefits, Marten offers flexible spending to company employees, as well as the 401K Retirement Savings Plan, along with comprehensive pay.

Randolph L. Marten Scholarship Program Marten Transport, Ltd. has established a scholarship program to assist company employees' children who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college and vocational programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution of the student's choice.
The scholarship program is administered by Scholarship management Services, a department of Citizens' Scholarship Foundation of America, Inc. (CSFA). CSFA is a national nonprofit educational support and student aid service organization that seeks to involve and assist the private sector in expanding educational achievement. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, gender, disability or national origin.
Up to eight scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded each year. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. There is a limit of one recipient per family per year.
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of educational and career goal, and an outside appraisal. Financial need is not considered.

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be a dependent child of a Marten Transport, Ltd. employee. Each recipient will receive a $1,500.00 award to use towards furthering their education. Marten Transport holds a strong belief that education and hard work will make a difference in the future. Since the inception of the Randolph L. Marten Scholarship Program, the company has presented over 58 students with educational scholarships. Marten Transport would like to congratulate all of the recipients on this achievement, and may they have continued success in their chosen fields of study.
